Intense colour

Colour: bright ruby red with purplish tinges.
Bouquet: vinous, typical and fruity, it recalls the red berry fruit, in particular the raspberry.
Taste: dry, full, with lingering and soft aftertaste.

Wine area: Pramaggiore
Grapes: 100% Malbech.
Vineyard: Belfiore.
Soil: clayey-calcareous.
Vine density: 4200 plants per hectare.
Training system: double arched cane.
Harvest time: end of September/beginning of October.
Vinification: traditional maceration of the skins for 10 days, controlled temperature at 24-27° C in steel tanks, malolactic fermentation.
Ageing: 6 months in steel tanks on the yeasts and 3 months in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Total acidity: 5 g./l.

Gastronomic matches: great with cold cuts, middle-aged cheeses, appetizing first courses, meats. Serve at 18° C uncorking the bottle some hours before tasting.
